How to properly install a compressed air precision filter

Compressed air filters are used to filter compressed air by physical means, filtering out solid particles, water droplets, oil mist and other impurities from the compressed air to obtain clean compressed air.

The main components of the compressed air precision filter are the filter element and the housing. When the compressed air passes through the filter element with a certain precision, the impurities are blocked and the clean compressed air flows out through the filter element, and the precision of the treated compressed air meets the needs of different industries.

Air filters are divided into different precision levels, so the installation order can not be mistaken, if the order is installed wrong, it will not only affect the cleanliness of the compressed air, but also affect the service life of the compressed air filter. Therefore, the correct installation sequence is a prerequisite for getting clean compressed air.

　　Compressed air filter classes:

　　P-class: pre-coalescing filter, filtration precision 3μm

　　U level: through the filter, filtration accuracy of 1μm, at 20 ℃ working conditions, residual oil content of ≤ 0.1mg / m3

　　H grade: precision filter, filtration precision 0.01μm, residual oil content ≤0.01mg/m3 at 20℃ working condition

　　S grade: oil removal filter, filtration precision is 0.01μm, in 20℃ working condition, residual oil content is ≤0.001mg/m3, used together with H grade filter

　　Class C: Activated carbon filter for odour removal, can be used for oil-lubricated compressors, at 20°C, the residual oil content is ≤0.001mg/m3, used together with class H filter

　　Notes on the order of compressed air filter installation:

　　1, should be coarse first and then fine principle of combination configuration, the order can not be reversed

　　2, the actual compressed air flow, pressure and temperature through the compressed air filter should not exceed the rated value of the filter

　　3, in the installation should pay attention to the import and export position of the compressed air filter

　　4, installation should be a certain height from the ground, to facilitate the replacement of operations
